Smooth like cats are the vocal arrangements of the band Cat4Beat and that does not happen by accident!
FREYA Wippich (Vocals, Percussion)
was discovered as a singer in a contest at the age of 14 by „Radio Klagenfurt“ , released her first record at the age of 13 and subsequently went in for her career in Germany. In 1969 she was the lead character in the musical „Hair“. She performed with international stars like James Last, Udo Lindenberg, Georg Danzer, B.Wippich ( fabulous guitarist) , the British Band „Hornettes“ and others. 2005 she returned to her hometown Klagenfurt and mentored various musical projects together with her husband B. Wippich. She furthermore founded the „Ladies“ who gathered great attention. In 2016 she founded in association with Manfred Kanduth the band „Cat4Beat“ whose members have an outstanding reputation on the Carinthian music scene.

KARIN Jammer(vocals, bass)
won the HELP-Music-Contest at the age of 16 and after that released her first self-composed song (Real Friends). In the following years she tread the boards with prestigious artists like Karen Asatrian, Brünner Philharmoniker, Oldo Lubich, etc .Karin is dedicated to Swing ( e.g. Carinthian Swing Combo ), Jazz and Blues ( e.g. Kelag Bigband) but also inspired by many other styles like French Chansons (+accordion+Freddy Jammer ) or her own band Da Capo (founded 1986 ).

CHRISTIAN Pucher ( guit,vocals)
is a wellknowm musician from Upper Carinthia. His way of playing the guitar has a surprising touch , silky at the first moment and explosive at the second – pure dynamism so to speak. At present he is a member of "Talking Rats & the hot Cats", "Ludwigs Dixieland Jazzband", Love4mation and Cat4Beat.
MANFRED Kanduth (Bass, vocals)
is a wellknown allrounder who surprises with his smooth voice. He performed with Jazz ensembles, Bigbands and many musicians of distinction like the Carinthian Swing Combo. At present he focusses on Cat4Beat to express his musicality.
BERNHARD Zitter ( drums..percussion)
is an experienced percussionist. He won lots of drum contests, performed with Wolfgang Ambros, Peter Cornelius, Al Cook, Turning - Point, ELEGY, (UK) Muckstrunz & Bamschabl, Schmetterlinge and many others. The Carinthian with Irish roots is founding member of the fabulous „Roletts“ and takes part in various musical projects like Cat4Beat since 2016.
